This collection contains photographs and papers about African-Americans in Boulder County, Colorado. Included are family photographs of the McVey, Epperson, Lewis, Morrison, Reeves, and Lingham families; photographs and information about the African Methodist Episcopal Church and the Second Baptist Church of Boulder; and biographical information about Afro-American pioneers and early gold miners. Also newspaper clippings about Dearfield, Colorado, an African-American community in Weld County.
